The Wind She comes, when the spring softly calls her A silent ripple through the trees - A pleasant, cooling sensation, As You walk through fields of flowers She comes when summer beckons her, A warm rush on the sunny beach, Lifting sand and water with ease, Placing them own with swift moveme She comes when autumn summons her, A playful, chilly, whispering breeze, Gathering leaves and spinning them, One by one to another place that needs them

She comes when winter orders her, A mournful, wailing through the trees, Gathering snowflakes to hurl small ice splinters at people below She always comes when she 15 called, Beckoned or summoned or ordered She has many moods and tempers, Each one for a special season
