Yea r 8 This year's students wrote postcards to encourage the next group of Year 8s

You guys are going to have a fantabulous time here. Sure there's washing up, cooking in the dark, but there is also great times and memories including camp-out night, canoeing and team challenge day. You really get to know the people in your House better and you'll probably make new friends. If you don't get into a team with all of your friends don't worry. Use it as an opportunity to make new friends. You're going to have an awesome time.

Be prepared to release your inner adventurer! Make sure you are independent and come up with your own fun ways to participate in the activities. You will have such a great time. The food is the best! You can go visit the cows or the alpacas ... it's a great experience! You are in for a flood of surprises.

Year 8 camp has been one of the best experiences of the year! I have been challenged but I overcame it, just like you will have to. Also be nice to your friends and bring deodorant! Things get pretty stinky! But remember to just relax and have heaps of fun! ... adventurous yet extremely exhausting bike ride up a hill. it was very tiring walking and biking, but we got there. What got me through was_theteam's. encouragemen REBECCA, YEAR 9 STUDENT So far at camp many things have been challenging: hill bike riding and hiking. Getting me through the rest of the challenges would have to be me telling myself I can do it, positive thinking. Throughout the week our group worked well together. When we went canoeing the stars were amazing and the echoes from the hills were something I haven't ever experienced before.
