VALENTINE’S DAY

Keeping with the School’s motto, on Tuesday 14 February, Grammar girls got Out of the Blue and substituted their royal blue ribbons for pink face paint and red tutus. Sticking to tradition, on Valentine’s Day the School was transformed into a hopeless romantics’ wonderland with love, friendship and fun a common theme. Hearts flew on the dancefloor as classics like ‘Beautiful Soul’ and ‘Love on Top’ brought a range of girls from different Years together to celebrate the love they share for their School and each other. The Student Council did a spectacular job with organising both the decorations and badges with Second Chance providing the girls with baked delights from their annual Valentine’s Day bake stall with all the proceeds going towards the School’s charity. With Valentine’s Day being the first big event on the school calendar the Student Council really made their mark and started the year off with a bang. BREEZE MATHEWS (12M)
