Netball

For students at BGGS, Netball is a sport that is thrilling, exciting and brings coaches and players together. During the 2024 QGSSSA Netball season this was definitely evident. A winning blend of fun, teamwork, and inclusivity brought out the best in everyone and was a true reflection of the 2024 season. This year was unique in the way teams came together to demonstrate the Girls Grammar spirit. Each player contributed by demonstrating personal strengths. Support for Grammar sisters both on and off the court was continually evident. Eight teams won QGSSSA premierships which was a great reward for the high level of skill, hard work, resilience and competitive spirit demonstrated by the players.

Ms Stephanie Torrisi—the Netball coordinator—made this season possible. Her dedication and organisational skills kept everything running smoothly and ensured that we were always prepared for each game. Ms Stephanie Torrisi’s support and encouragement helped us stay motivated and focused throughout the season. Rose Anastas (12W) and Edie Gouldson (12M)
