Drama Drama Studio offers a vibrant and stimulating environment where students can explore various facets of theatre and performance. This year has been particularly exciting, with numerous creative opportunities and projects that allowed us to dive into different aspects of Drama. I find Drama Studio enjoyable and exciting as we have so many creative opportunities to try out different aspects of Drama. In Term 1, we chose a well-known human and performed and created something based off that person. My group focused on Bindi Irwin and we even incorporated a song. We used the library as a roving performance and entitled the piece, Trailblazers . Term 2 afforded the opportunity to work with the Dead Puppets Society and learn how to do puppetry. In Semester Two, we chose between doing a play written by Year 9 students (a murder mystery and a supernatural piece) or we could work with the amazing Camille Cahill and do Musical Theatre, focusing on a piece from Matilda. So, overall, this year has been fantastic with so many different things going on. Amelia Barber (9B)

Drama is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Thanks to the Drama Studio, I’m a better actor, my confidence has shot through the roof, I have more friends than ever, and I have never been happier. Everyone there is kind and amazing. It’s so much fun. JoJo Catt (8O) We very much enjoy Drama Studio. When participating in productions and plays, you get to create fun scenes and bring your characters to life. Drama Studio is always social and gets your mind active when memorising lines and rehearsing with others.
