GERMAN G uten Tag! This year, Year 8 German students developed their listening, writing and speaking skills through entertaining class activities. Throughout the term, our studies were divided into three areas: ordering and talking about food, asking for directions, and places around the city. These topics allowed us to participate in more complex conversations and challenge our vocabulary. Class lessons were always fun and engaging, learning through games such as ‘Kahoot’ or crosswords. One of our favourite things about learning German is the Education Perfect resources. Education Perfect is an online resource with tasks set by your teacher that you can complete in your own time. There are various tasks covering different concepts which makes studying much easier. Learning about everyday German culture has also opened our eyes to a whole new way of living and we are glad we chose it as our language elective.
