YEAR 10 MUSIC
T his year in Curriculum Music, the Year 10 cohort completed the ASPIRE project, which involved a range of learning experiences relating to songwriting. To introduce students to the unit, Grammar Women, Hannah Cameron (2008) and Johannah Davie (2012), visited the School to share their songwriting experiences with our class. They talked about the songwriting process and what their songs mean to them. For me, songwriting is a way to express my feelings and ideas through melody and lyrics and although it can be hard at times the end result is always rewarding. April Chudleigh (10R)
