DRAMA YEAR 7 AND 8 DRAMA PRODUCTION— CHARLIE PILGRIM (OR A BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO TIME TRAVEL)

D irected by Sam O’Sullivan, 17 students from Years 7 and 8 performed Charlie Pilgrim (Or A Beginner’s Guide to Time Travel) on Friday 16 August and Saturday 17 August in the Gehrmann Theatre. Charlie Pilgrim was adamant on changing the past. Unfortunately, the prototype of Charlie’s time machine—The Mobius—accidentally created a closed time-loop that adds a new Charlie Pilgrim to the world every 24 hours.

With the number of Charlies entering the world creating some interesting group dynamics, the Charlies must fix the time machine to prevent the universe collapsing under the weight of a mounting series of mind-bending paradoxes. Being a part of the production allowed me to develop my acting skills and create new friendships. Lucy Williamson (8W)
