BASKETBALL It was an honour to lead this year’s Basketball team, in our fifth year of the sport at Girls Grammar. With 12 teams, the girls’ enthusiasm and spirit was commendable and essential to the success of the season. Congratulations to the 10 A, Senior B and 8 A team for placing second in their competitions and special mention to the 10 B Team for winning their competition.

CRICKET Straight off the bat, the 2018 Cricket season was a hit. This year, we were ecstatic to enter a record seven teams in QGSSSA Cricket. Congratulations to the Open and 1A teams who placed third in their divisions and special mention to this year’s winner of the Cricket Encouragement Award, Charlotte Banney (8L). To the coaches, scorers, and managers, thank you for your time, passion, support and effort. Thank you also to Mr Cupitt, Cricket Coordinator, for your organisation, passion and enthusiasm which ensured the season ran smoothly. We are exceptionally proud of the sportsmanship, skills and enthusiasm shown by Girls Grammar cricketers this season and hope those who participated enjoyed the experience as much as we did.
