VOLLEYBALL The 2013 Volleyball season has proved successful with all players developing their skills and forming friendships within teams and across grades. in the aGSSSA competition five of our six teams placed in the top three in their divisions. and the 8B team placed a commendable fourth in the same division as the Premiership 8A team. Nevertheless. it is not the eventual placement of the teams that measures their success. it is the dedication of every girl. not only to her personal development in the sport. but also to the team spirit and encouragement of others across the year levels Every team experienced difficult games throughout the season, and in each case they competed valiantly. When beaten, they took it with grace and true Grammar spirit. congratulating their opponents on a game well fought BGGS Volleyball competed in the aGSSSA. Whatever opportunity presents itself give it a go with an open mind. because you never know where it may take you. Do not limit yourself because of what you believe are your shortcomings; keep practising, and never give up
