2013 School Magazine

Hoc!<'EY This year marked a milestone in the history of Girls Grammar Hockey. Final fixtures were played at Finsbury Park and the squad now looks forward to training and to hosting our opposition from the nine other aGSSSA schools at our Fig Tree Pocket Sport Campus in 2014

NETBALL While all great coaches are unique, they all have qualities such as persistence. dedication and a positive outlook Netball this year at Girls Grammar was fortunate to have a group of coaches who displayed these qualities This allowed the Grammar Netballers to become more confident (on and off the court), to develop their skills. and, most importantly. to have fun - even at training! Some amazing results were achieved this year with BGGS winning six out of a possible th rteen prem'erships and placing in the top three in five more. In total, Girls Grammar scored 4223 goals and only had 2317 scored against us. What an outstanding effort by the seventeen coaches and 170 girls, not only for these results, but also for sportsmanship and for demonstrating this year's sporting motto - 'To the Extreme in 2013'
