To complete the first half of the evening, the Chamber Singers girls were accompanied by the Combined Choir for a medley of songs from Sister Act with soloists Me rinda Dias-Jayasinha (11G> and Daisy Nussey <12H) it was an Incredibly energetic and enthusiastic performance complete with nun habits and dance moves and a great conclusion to the first half of the concert Symphonic Winds opened the second act with Music for a Darkened Theatre, which consisted of music written by Danny Elfman for several Tim Burton films. Following this they played Cinema ParedISO from the 19881talian movie Nuovo Cinema ParedISO. which won the 1989 Academy Award for best foreign film. They concluded with Selections from Mary Poppins a medley of songs from the movie Inc uding A Spoonfti/ of Sugar and Supercallf^gillstibexpia/Idocious which featured Madalyn Conwe11 <12L) and Me ianie Chui (12G) on glockenspiel and xylophone

Cool and America with soloists Emilia Lalousis <12E) and Tom Matthews. This was followed by a beautiful a capella arrangement of Somewhere and was definitely one of the many highlights of the evening Big Band then returned to the stage to perform three pieces' the main titles from the Academy Award- winning movie The Incled^^Ies. which featured Emily MCCormick <12M) on alto saxophone; Ding-Dongl The Witch Is Dead with soloists Sabrina Sadiq <12M) on piano, who utilised several other tunes from The Wizard of 02 and Caroline Zhang <12M) on tenor saxophone. and Skyfo// from the James Bond movie of the same name, with a beautiful duet between Louise For bes <12W) on trombone and Hannah For bes <12W) on tenor saxophone Chamber Singers then opened with the piece Moon River from the movie Breakfost at lift^nyS. Their second piece was a haunting requiem from the French film Les Choristes entitled in Memoriam and featured soloist Anna Whitaker <12H) Lastly the girls performed a medley of TV show theme songs Including Sesame Street. Playschoo/. The Brady Bunch, The 819 Bang Theory. and Friends - definitely an entertaining end to their repertoire
