Chloe Yap and Mr Mark Suilivan

Every two years the Grammar Community Choir has the opportunity to perform at Gala. and this year they performed River and Gabr/'e/is Oboe from the Mission it was a fantastic performance. and very encouraging seeing the number of old girls and the extended Grammar community involved in this wonderful music event. This choir then performed the 77'1'urnpha/ March from Aide with Symphony Orchestra Symphony Orchestra performed two pieces, the first with Chloe Yap <12B) on solo cello in Edward Elgar's Cello Concert Op. 85. Their second piece was a

collection of themes from Lord of the Rings composed by Howard Shore, and Anna Whitaker (12H) sang solo in this arrangement To end the concert, the Combined Choir was accompanied by Symphony Orchestra in a medley of well-known movie tunes, and soloists Emma Anstey- Codd <11E). Is abella Gray <12B) and Emily MCCormick (12M) performed amazing Iy. Overall. Gala was a huge success and a night that was enjoyed by all ANNA WHITAKER q2H), EMMA VAN HAERINGEN 02R) AND MADALYN CONWELL <12L), MUSIC CAPTAINS
