^ON6Wl:^'ITEF? ^^^TUDIO I have been very fortunate to be a part of Songwriter Studio lead by the amazing Mr Pennay. I developed my lyrical and compositional skills including scored. live recordings and electronic. I learnt a great deal about recording and performing, as well as using music programs such as Pro Tools. Garage Band. Audacity and Sibelius. The development of my compositions throughout the year prepared me to submit a o1io or tertiar musical institutions. I also gained IFreplaceable insights and musical skills through workshops with experienced musicians such as Astrid Joeensen and Pat Pattison. My time as a member of Songwriter Studio has enabled me to grow as a musician, and I will miss it greatly next year

CONIPO^Eiji^";^^ CLUB This has been an eventful year for the members of Composers Club. particularly for the likes of music nerds like me. who take over the music classrooms every Monday lunchtime eagerly awaiting Mr Pennay's musical expertise. Over the year we have developed our skills dramatically through composition workshops and competitions, and through receiving helpful feedback from our peers. our knowledgeable music teachers and even established composers outside the School The Sinfonietta composition workshop brought together teachers and students to discover the wonders of motif and its countless benefits in composition. Chloe Yap (12B) and I had the privilege of attending this event. and the experience was not only enjoyable but has also significantly improved our compositional techniques. it has been an honour to be part of Composers Club for the past five years; throughout my time I have certainly learnt to t in outside the Bachs!
