With an ectectic range of genres. series and movies from which to choose. members decide on a new series to watch each Term through a popular vote This years titles Included the movies The girl who leap! through time; Skip Beat; and Kimiin 16doke in worlds very different to the one outside the Studio doors, members can gasp and laugh at the crazy antics of different characters and enjoy a retaxing jinostlyl break. Cosplay. the combination of the words 'costume and role-play'. 15 a popular aspect of Japanese pop culture. and involves designing and creating costumes based on a favourite character or series. Many members share photos of some of their amazing Cosplay projects from events such as Supernova Pop-Culture Expo and Animania as well as sinatter gatherings such as the Anime picnic which was held in the Roma Street Parklands earlier this year. Any girl who may have recently unearthed a new Interest in Anime or simply wishes to see what att the fuss 15 about. 15 welcome to pop in next year. Supported by our co- Dadinator. Ms Jans. who experienced Anime for the first time this year as well. we strive to make Thursday lunch times a unique and animated event EMILY NORTON 112Ml club hetd a raffle which Included prizes ranging from a Vogue subscription to a skateboard. A visit to the Windsor Rotary Club enriched our understanding of the Importance of community service and gave us the opportunity to share our experiences of service at the School. The Open Day stall featured ice- cream cookie sandwiches as well as an Information board about Muscular Dystrophy. and helped raise our total funds beyond the $2,000 mark. Throughout the year. we were struck by the enthusiasm and vision of club members. One of the youngest cultural clubs at the School. the Anime Club. established in 2007, consists of students of all Year levels. personalities and Houses who come together to watch. share and discuss the Japanese pop culture of Anime. Every Thursday lunch time. members are able to escape from some of the busier aspects of School. to the Studio for games. drawing competitions

olds, has enjoyed a fulfilling forty-second year at Brisbane
Girls Grammar School. When the club first met in February we were excited to see more than one hundred Yearll and 12 girls sign up - a number large enough to warrant a change of venue. An overwhelming majority of 'interactors' voted to support Muscular Dystrophy Queensland. an organisation which assists Queensland families affected by Muscular Dystrophy and supports research into its causes and treatment. Fundraising began with a series of banana split and sundae stalls. In Term 11 with generous donations from 91rts and their families. the
