11 I^I 1011 MMMA^ 1011 11n 110,111, 111 ^11N MMI^; or IN 'I 1001 ON I^I inn or an In A ERM To AntiT aMMUNll:I'llVRONMEW-1011ANIINIO IN1 011 MUM; it un Cwm Proudly donning wide-brimmed hats and gardening gtoves the team spent two Saturday afternoons weeding and planting seedlings In order to enhance and restore the Creek habitat Viewed by many as the perfect opportunity to take a break from schoolwork and get some fresh air. the enthusiasm of the girls was astonishing. and the project was a remarkable success On the first afternoon. the group managed to exceed the expectations of the SOWN volunteers by efficiently clearing and restoring a significant area of the Wetton Bridge Reserve As a result. on our second visit to the Reserve we were assigned a much tanger area. but with a t1111e perseverance and team work we were able to polish off the lob in no time As well as being heaps of fun. helping out the environment was a highly rewarding experience. and many of the girls plan to return to the Reserve in the future to check out the results of their efforts. Despite a few sore muscles on Sunday morning from the vigorous digging and wheelbarrowing. lis safe to say that Grammar Goes Green was worth 11 REBECCA ADSETT 112Ml
