She climbed weU but she and her other team member were up against the highly fancied Europeans and unfortunately did not reach the finals. Thank you to our Co- ordinator Mr Greatorex and his assistant Mrs UTPy for their hard work this year in running this activity. Thanks also to returning climbers Rebecca Countok (2009) and annalse Vargliese (8009) who assisted in coaching the climbers. Grammar Crew: Row True This was the theme that guided our rowers throughout the 8010 season. All rowers exhibited immense enthusiasm, co-operation and commitment. The squad united during indoor rowing, four months of hard training, an lead-up regattas and most importantly at Head of River on 28 August. This season saw success across age groups with the Year 8 div 6, Year 9 scull Charlotte Lovejoy, Year 9 div I, Year 10 div 4 and div 5, and Senior TV all placing in their respective finals at Head of River. Girls Grammar finished sixth in the BSRA Aggregate Cup, yet the season was about more than success in racing, all girls rowed true to their Grew, their squad and their school. We definitely made Grammar proud girls! Daisy Swimdon ,"con, ,Inn <, 800 and Brim Kinoran C, .am, Captaing
