This year proved to be one of the biggest groups the Eelgate Society has had in a long time. The number of girls was truly astounding and all girls were welcomed with open arms: both the old and the new The first production of the year. held in Term 11, frightened the audience and made them laugh at the same time. it was centred around a lost camping group who were tening scary stories around a campfire. which were re-enacted by groups of girls, This production gave the opportunity fop a large number of senior girls to step up and take on director roles. but at the same time. the rehearsals were filled with constant laughter and screams

Term In began slowly but we soon started on the production for Term IV- The School of the Arts. written by Ms Edwards. Sarah Norton and Brittany Harrop. it also posed a challenge fop the girls to work with the script and change it over time instead of directly following the lines. With a slightly funny plot. it explored the differences between the creative arts and the relationships between these departments Saran, 10rton and Brittany Harrop 02W> Captains

The Junior Production for 8010 wag me 8018 by Lln Cogblan. The pi y tells the story of Ron, the "weird gal from up the fiats". After her small English town is flooded, she finds a statue of St. Arithony in her bedroom which she believes h given her Bpeeial powers. With best friend Zelda t her Bide, ROD Bets about using her new-found @ft to heal her community' The young people of the tomi tell the story in their Qini words, tanig on the roles of their p nts, teachers, friends and enemies, 88 the population finds itself hungering for something magical to come into their lives. The actors performed with great skin, commitment d enthusiaBm to appreciative audiences.
