The Senior A team also finished strongly and provided some great highlights. The Years 9 and 10 teams were keen to return to the court and build on their previous performances. Special mention must be made of the 10B and 9B teams, who exhibited strength and consistency, completing the season as undefeated premiers. The Year 8s successfully entered Girls Grammar Basketball community and demonstrated great enthusiasm for the sport. The team representing the School in the Brisbane Basketball Incorporated competition continues to demonstrate a commitment to skill development and fair play The season has been a rewarding experience for all involved and the players have once again put in an enormous effort. The season was a continuation of the proud tradition in sporting excellence at Girls Grammar. it was our fourth year of competition fielding five teams over three divisions. Although the season finished without any premierships the Grammar Cricket squad continued to demonstrate improvement and a positive attitude forming a solid foundation for future development. The First Xi had a challenging start to the season, facing some very tough competition. The players are to be coinmended on their team spirit, as their efforts ensured that positive attitudes were maintained throughout the season. Special mention must be given to Amelia Tsikleas (100) for her consistent performance throughout the season and 01ivia Degn (12R) for her excellent on-+ield captaincy skills. In Division Two, the Second XI and Third XI cricket teams played against some stiff competition throughout the entire competition. Both teams, however, rose to the challenge producing several exceptional players worthy of mention. Hannah She ridan (12H) and Hannah Nicklin (12W) were an invaluable asset to their fellow Second Xi team members.

The Division Three competition included the Fourth XI and Fifth Xi teams. Congratulations must be extended to several standout players whose contribution to their team was invaluable. Tsz-Ching Tang (9G) and Naomi Glover (9M) in the Fourth xi demonstrated consistent improvement in their batting across the season. Bianca Testa (9B) was the worthy recipient of The Cricket encouragement prize. Finally, we would like to thank the entire Cricket community for the enthusiasm demonstrated throughout the competition. Thanks to our dedicated Co- ordinator Miss A Stark, coaches, managers, and parents for another successful season. ^'^^'^^ I^/ ^0 ^^M ^? I^/ ^^@
