for the future. We know that you will continue to soar above the rest! “Over my past five years at Grammar, I feel incredibly glad to have been an Englander. From weekly House assemblies to the House spirit on sports days, it’s been fantastic to experience the friendliness and the supportiveness that is typical of my House. As I leave the ‘nest’ and finish my years at Grammar, I will always look back on my England memories with a smile!” (Year 12 student) “Coming into England House has been a great experience. All the girls in the House are great and so friendly. England girls don’t always win sport carnivals but they always have the best spirit. At the beginning of the year I felt a bit new but now I know I am a true England eagle.” (Year 8 student) “Being new this year, what really stood out to me was the laughter, joy and excitement I experienced in the House, and that’s what I will remember in years to come.” (Year 8 student) Eve Kelso and Nicole Rowles HOUSE CAPTAINS

England House is known as The Friendly House and in 2007 our enthusiasm, spirit and care for England eagles rose to new heights. England House continued the 2007 Head Girls’ theme of “Create the Bonds” by welcoming the new Year 8 ‘eaglets’ into our England family in January this year. Strong relationships formed within the house, especially between the Year 12s and their wonderful Year 8 buddies, who started on the very first day with a shared lunch, games and activities. These buddy bonds have continued all year and the Year 8s are sad to farewell these special friends. The blue spirit was out in force at all Interhouse events with lots of cheering, great participation and tremendous contributions made by every girl in the House in their own way. 2007 has been a year to remember. Each and every England girl deserves to be congratulated for the contributions they have made to the House and the School this year and for the efforts they have made for our House charity, Young Care, through various fundraisers. This year, England House has spent over 150 hours doing things for others! We wish all the teachers and girls of England House the best of luck
