N E TB AL L Grammar Netball in 2003 has not only been successful, but it has also been fun, spirited and full of dedication and commitment. This Year, Grammar proudly fielded fifteen teams, making Netball the largest sport offered at Brisbane Girls Grammar School After intensive training throughout Term 11, the girls and coaches were ready to demonstrate their newly developed abilities on court As is the tradition of Grammar Netball, the Open team began their season by competing in the Vicki Wilson Cup Knockout Competition. The girls set themselves a goal to reach the third round, which was achieved. All girls must be coinmended on their sportsmanship and camaraderie The Saturday morning fixtures were exciting and intense. The Year Eight teams started the season with great enthusiasm and made
a memorable debut into the netball community. Their skill and enthusiasm has ensured a firm foundation for the future of Grammar netball In keeping with the tradition, this season's results reflected the enormous depth of talent possessed by Grammar Netballers. In the aGSSSA competition for 2003, the season ended with eight of our fifteen teams winning premierships. Seven of these teams were undefeated. Four teams were placed second, two teams third and one fourth As captains for 2003, we are very proud of this success and are positive that a solid base has been laid for future achievements in Netball
