ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS As the aGSSSA competition approached, misfortune hit the artistic gymnastics team. Two B Grade gymnasts were elevated to the A Grade competition and this, coupled with injuries, reduced the Grammar B Grade team to only three gymnasts, making it very difficult to be competitive as a team, but they competed regardless. with wonderful routines by Madeline Farmer, who performed on all apparatus. Although placed sixth, the B Grade team was given a standing ovation by the rest of the Grammar team .

Grammar entered two Grade 8 teams, both of which achieved exceptional scores, particularly. Jennifer Gillett with a total score of 37.65 out of a possible 40. The Grammar 8.2 team came first in their division and the 8.1 team achieved a bronze placing in an extremely competitive division. in the D. I division, Grammar won convincing Iy. As many of the members of this team no longer train outside school, this result was very pleasing. Grammar's two teams also dominated the 0.2 division. The third D Grade team entered as a social team. The introduction of this team is testament to the depth of commitment felt, and provided experience for D Grade gymnasts. They placed a creditable fourth. The six members displayed the greatest improvement of all teams, with Camille Bianchi competing on all apparatus, with all scores counting The C grade team scored a total of 109,482, winning by 1366 The A grade team, plus the previous B Grade members, included Alaria Hew and Courtney Park, both highly credentialed gymnasts and, while Alaria competed superbly, unfortunately the star A grade performer, Courtney, could not compete because of an injury to her knee. However, this did not stop her excellent enthusiasm and great support for her fellow teammates. After an outstanding competition, the A Grade team scored an impressive 105.124 and were placed fourth overall. Conseq uently Grain in a r's gym riasts won
