With each new Year come more challenges, opportunities and progress for Brisbane Girls Grammar School. The School community has risen to these challenges, taken advantage of the opportunities and made the progress which is intrinsic to the School's excellence. Making all of this possible have been the School's strengths of diversity, flexibility, confidence and supportive ness for each other This ear undoubtedl , has been one of great changes, far-reaching strides and laudable achievements. Girls Grain in a r's academic excellence, athletic superiority and creative distinction have been up held through the Year's many triumphs. The most memorable event for the sporting community was undoubtedly the Cross Country team's winning effort, as they led the School to its tenth aGSSSA championship. The drama community had its success too with performances of Hamlet and more specifically, The House of Bernardo Alba. With countless awards a n d natio nal recog nition, G re in in a r's academic reputation now stands higher before. Brisbane Girls tha n ever Grammar School has shown it can rise above the rest, and be with the best Coming to live in Australia was the introduction to my life story, but Girls Grammar has become its own chapter I'm positive that this too applies to the entire Grammar community,
which reaches into and touches all of our lives. This School, whether the students realise it or not, bestows upon each and every pupil knowledge and spirit so that their lives may be lived to the fullest Every Grammar girl should take pride in who they are and who they will become They should also realise that they are part of a community that is truly wonderful.
