Raiders of the Lost Ark to the nostalgic finale Disney Moort. the quality of the performances was engaging and inspiration a and were presented with polish and professionalism Iefferies Bursary and four-times Wight Medal winner HeIen Godfrey performed Mozart's Piano Concerto N0 28 in D and Anna Rumbach sang the Iudy Garland classic. Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Edwina George and Kavita Paw featured in the rousing Irish Party in Third Class from the smash hit movie 'Titanic' and Ienny Khafagi captured the essence of SchihdlerS List and Summertime. Several other soloists added to the wonderful achievement of the day and all must be congratulated on their outstanding efforts The presenters for the day. Satah Hancock and Amahda Goldsmith were veritable professionals as they took the audience on a nostalgic journey through time Special thanks must go to the corporate sponsors and the Music Support Group who worked so hard to ensure the success of the day. Their organisation and tireless efforts ensured the smooth running of the behind the scenes arrangements and without them the Gala would be Impossible. Mr SUIlivan, Mr HDlley, Mr Dabelstein and all the Music Staff must be acknowledged for their dedication, talent and endless energy and for the way they inspire each of the groups to produce their very best Rehearsing and performing such wonderful music was a realjoy for everyone who was on stage and all the performers appreciated the generous applause of the huge audience. Cinema Classics was a truly unforgettable experience and will long be remembered as one of the best performances ever
