Cinema Classics, the sixth Annual Gala Concert, was reminiscent of the Oscar award ceremony. where many of the great and famous film soundtracks were performed From 48m on Sunday 18 August the City Hall was transformed with spectacular decorations and lights In order to capture the grandeur and spirit of Hollywood For the previous six weeks, the senior performing ensembles. Symphonic Winds, Big Band. Chamber Singers, Grammar Singers, Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. as well as the Massed Choir, rehearsed with enthusiasm and vigour to bring to life the program of celebrated classic movie themes
