Term Four started in the tradition of School Day, where the musicians run back and forth from performances to stalls All groups provided diverse entertainment throughout the day. and with the bands on the Stage Lawn this yeaL music was even more prominent in the day's program. The Farewell Concert, organized by the Year 11 students, signified that the end of the year was near. This was an exceptionally entertaining and memorable concert, indicating that the leadership from our Seniors next year will be something to look forward to. The successful Spring Concert was the last performance of the year for the intermediate and junior players. Speech Day was especially memorable for the Music Department this yea" Symphonic Winds opening with the moving celebration hymn Analuio! LoudomusIb and the Symphony Orchestra ending the day just when we thought it was all over, the Christmas Open House was here. This is a new inititative designed to draw the school together before the holiday season
Overall it can easily be seen how the year proved to be such a musical success, due to the versatility and talent of our Music students and staff Thanks must go to all who support the Music Program especially the Music Support Group, the parents of all the girls, Mrs Hancock for her continuous support of Music within the School, and of course to the tireless Music staff who continue to lead the girls to dizzying new heights of Music making
