As most girls arrived with expectations of Adelaide being a tomplete hole:the beautiful and fresh city we discovered was a lovely surprise, as were the kind and generous billets we stayed with. Many of them accommodated more people than they probably wanted to, as on the Monday before we arrived there were still45billets required, so a couple of families ended up with between six and nine students staying in their houses. The festival proved to be a great success, ending on the Saturday night with a challenging repertoire and an impressive performance, the culmination of hours and hours of rehearsals and tutorials Thank you to Mrs Hancock and all the people who allowed this to happen, and to Mr Holley and Mr Suilivan who accompanied the group of girls' it was an excellent experience that none of the girls will forget
