of us are still coming to terms with the fact that a ready three years of our high school career have passed Whether it be the scary beginnings of our first day as tiny Year 85, or the bright and cheerful days of Year 9, or the now supposedly more mature days as Year 10.1t can certainly be said that we have had great grounding for the years to come as Seniors of the School Regardless of whether we end up becoming doctors or famous pop stars, every girl who wears the Brisbane Girls Grammar School uniform will always be proud of what she has achieved here in this great school
Year 10 has been a year full of exciting and incredible experiences Each term, different classes were able to help the wider community through involvement un Service at numerous venues throughout Brisbane, an experience which has been a learning curve for many of the girls involved. Towards the end of Term Three, we all had to choose our subjects for Years I I and 12 Since the beginning of the yea, our year level has become more closely bonded in a variety of ways. For most of us, Year 10 has been the year during which we have matured, in the sense that we have realised what our forthcoming futures might hold Some of us already have dreams which we want to achieve, but most

A Year of New Experiences
Year 10 has been a year of new experiences. For the first time we were able to experience Design and Technology. During the term we made a timber 3-piece puzzle, completed a key ring project in acrylic and a resin embed merit (basically we embedded an objectin clear resin) and also created ajewellery box if we had time We had the opportunity to participate in a range of Service activities including childcare, aged care and working with service organisations such as Amnesty international. The camp was the most challenging yet, as we were expected to camp for three days under the harsh Imbil sun. Mr Waitisbul was nicknamed "Walter" by 10 E. Multicultural Background had an exotic year studying Asia Physics students studied a unit where the assessment was to build and launch a rocket propelled by air and water pressure. Normal Year 10 classes were split to form English Electives on 16 Killa MockingbirdAnimalForm, ZforZochonoh, Peeing the Onion, Queen hat Calmeland 51.1ude Get a Lifo and The Harp in the South. Drama classes performed a production in Term FOUL with some very interesting themes and ideas There were mixed reactions, yet the general opinion was that Year 10 was a year from which a lot could be learned
