Year 9 was the year when we became bid hands'at Gramma, and were no longer the babies of the school (woohoo!). We approached the year with great confidence, and came across many new experiences and challenges On the very first day of Year 9, we were given our new'subject groups: In which we would have the majority of our lessons for the year. For many of us, these new class groups meant that we were thrown in amongst new girls whom we had only seen once or twice but to whom we had never talked As the weeks passed, we came to know our new classmates well, and many new friendships formed We were grouped by our chosen elective subjects, so each class had similar interests and formed a cohesive Identity. Take, for example, the Art classes, weekly take day'in Maths or the way 9E might ask their classmates to'har' it was this group bonding, begun at camp, which helped us to find together ness as a grade
