2000 School Magazine
from the heod 91/1s
To Grammar 2000 - we will leave you with this:
Special thanks must go to the guidance of Mrs Hancock, Miss Williams, Miss Hatron, Miss Gilmour, Miss Smith, and Mr Hyndman for their help throughout this year. Mrs MCConaghy and Mr Dale deserve an enormous thank you for the work they have done over the past two years of our Senior school life, as they have nurtured us through Year I I and supported us endlessly through Year12. We will miss you all. Last but certainly not least, it must be said the Brisbane Girls Grammar School2000 has been a body unlike any other that this school has seen. The school spirit which has ignited from a sparkinto a fire, has burned solidly and without extinguishment for the entire year. Each and every girl has contributed and been a part of the formidable team that has pulled together and supported each other despite year level, House, or friendship group. There was never the need for us to demand support, enforce our authority, or exercise discipline, for the supporting arms and smiling faces of every girl in a BGGS uniform was there without question or doubt. The epitome of this support was evident in the Year 12 body. Whatjustice can we possibly do in a few sentences to truly illustrate the amazing friendship of our year group? The Seniors this year have paved the path for younger grades to follow in their footsteps, through exemplary leadership, friendship and unity. We are one body of inseparable friends, who have come together over the past five years to concludein an explosion of vivacity, laughter, andjoyin 2000. We have supported each other in the hard times, and have enjoyed the good times together. Girls, we have had no greater honour than to be your Head Girls this year.
