amount of paper was being wasted in the school. After some investigation, discussion and with permission, the school be- came the proud owners of new waste bins. Thanks to Pacific Waste and QPM the school now has its ve1y own waste management program. General waste continues to go in the green bins. A yellow lidded bin is now able to recycle can, bottles and plastics. The bin the School has been waiting for to help solve our major waste problem has also arrived: the Clean Office Paper bin, a green bin with a blue lid. Our fundraising efforts this year have included supporting World Environment Day, by selling ribbons . We also held a raffle with the prize being a delicious array of freddo frogs and various frog products. GECO had continued to spread the word throughout the school with campaigns that secure its future in the school community. GECO has proven itself as the club for the achievers .
