the QOS. S. S. A. season undefeated and ranked as the top 14 year division player in Australia on fixture points. With play- ers of this standard, Grammar Tennis will once again become a dominant force in the words of our VOLLEYBALL captain, Beth Williams "Volleyball, what a sport, what a team, what a season, what a school! " The Grammar teams made Q. G. S. S. S. A. history this year by winning all four Volleyball premierships unde- feated. This result was the culmination of many years of solid work establishing basic skills, knowledge of the game and teamwork. These efforts coupled with the expert coach- ing of ex-international, Mrs loanne Piispanen and ex-State Mrs Susan Dickens, resulted in all corners representative, succumbing 10 our teams

junior team successfully represented B risbane Girls ' Grammar School in the same competition, placing seventh it Australia while playing in a higher age division. 11 is obvious this experience prepared them well for the 1993 season anc hopefully this year's Schools Cup will have a similar effeci on the 1994 teams The TRACK AND FIELD season began at the beginning a 111ird term with athletes dividing their lime between Wintel

The teams attribute their success 10 skill, teamwork, and determination with many a player committing herself totally 10 a successful outcome. This was Iypified by Megan Scott's diving peltOrmanCG to Save a point Representative honours were acknowledged early in the sea- son with Kale Ki!pairick being selected in the State U19 Team where her team gained first place in Canberra at the National Titles. A1ison Ready also is to be congratulated on gaining regional representation Tiffany ETecklingion, Meredith Bochmann, Kaiie Charlton, Kale Kilpairick, Beth Williams and Kale Bunning were selected to trial to I' the Queensland U19 Squad. Kale Kilpatrick and Beth Williams were successful in selection and await the announcement of the Queensland team with great anticipation. This was truly a season 10 remember! The season continues, however, with all four teams entered in the Coca-Cola Schools Cup held in Canberra. Last year, a
