ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS Back to the traditional Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, the 1989 Artistic Cymnastics team began training at 6.45 a.m. on 1st February. With less than 3.5 months before the Q.C.S.S.S.A. competition, training was strenuous from the beginning but with the support and dedication of Miss Dempsey and our coaches Crammar became ,,aforce to be reckoned with". Two weeks prior to the competition the team turned up at the St Peter's gymnasium for a meet with one of our major rivals. This proved to be an advantageous event for all Crammar competitors. Over the following fortnight the team was not looking good...it was looking CREAT!! and this exceptional taleni and enthusiasm radiated on our "Big Days', on May 19th and 20th. The team's effort can clearly be seen by these terrific results: 2nd 101 .10

Congratulations must go to all the gymnasts for their outstanding achievement and for making my year a reward- ing and enjoyable one. Many thanks must go to Miss Dempsey for her time and effort and I am sure the success of Artistic Cymnastics in 1989 will inspire the team to con- tinue Crammar's excellence in gymnastics next year.
