RHYTHMIC GYM Crammar boasted a strong, dedicated and cohesive Rhythmic Cym squad this year and all four teams performed impressively in the Q.C.S.S.S.A. competition at B'8.C. on 2.1st April. Months of training under the guidance of Mrs Papas and Nicole Schoutrop (a Crammar old girl and Elite National gymnast) resulted in an immaculate team of 32 who all gave tremendous time and energy to their routines. Final preparations were sealed at a friendly pre-competition meet at St Peter's two days before the Q.C.S.S.S.A. and this also gave the girls an opportunity to meet other gymnasts under less stressful conditions than on the night of the "real thing". We all thank St Peter's for inviting us and hope it will become an ongoing tradition. Standards in all sections of the Q.C.S.S.S.A. titles were ex- ceptional and the results were exceptional and the results were agonlzingly close but Crammar gymnasts were out- standing in stature and spirit. We all owe sincere thanks to the cheer squad and the fantastic group of supporters who created a truly electric atmosphere in the B.B.C. Thompson complex. Rhythmic Cym has never drawn such a crowd and we hope this too will be continued in years to come.
