AMAN I Amani is an environmentally aware peace group within the school. This year w'e have increased our interaction with other cultures by joining the Amnesty lnternational Urgent Action group. By writing letters to the relevani authorities, we appeal for people whose civil rights have been violated' Members of Amani have also been involveci in other activities such as speaking at peace rallies, placing a life-line clothing bin within the school and listening to invited guests from other concerned organisations. We look iorward to Amani expanding and communicating the importance of Clobal Peace. Alison Handfield Clare Murphy BEANLAND COMMITTEE Elected student representatives from each year level are part of the Beanland Committee.
