sENroR srRrNG QUARTET The 1989 String Quartet has had another exciting year, performing at various concerts and functions and represent- ing lhe school on these occasions. Our first appearance for the year was as the nucleus of the string octet in the school's promotional video. Other performances included School Day, the Annual Mothers' Croup Fashion Parade and several school concefts, as well as performing at St Andrew's Hospital in Spring Hill. The String Quartet consisted of Elizabeth Edge and Sze Wai Ooi on first and second violins, Caroline Wilke playing viola and Elizabeth Creen on the 'cello. Many thanks must go to Miss Myers for all her help and superior organisation throughout the year. We extend our best wishes to next year/s group as ambassadors of the Music Department. LIZ CREEN.
