BRUCE DAWE A visit to the school by Bruce Dawe, one of Australia's most highly-regarded contemporary poets, has been arranged by the English Depaftment for October, to coincide with the Year Twelve study of contemporary Australian verse. Bruce Dawe's undisputed poetic scope and craftsmanship, coupled with his social conscience, humanity, and humour, result in his being one of Australia's most respected and popular poets. Senior English staff and students are privileged to have the opportunity to work with, and learn from, a poet who inspires such respect and admiration.
