CHOST - PHANTOM . CANNOT DIE! His descendants follow him but all opposition think him powerful, fearful...in short, immortal! Yes, the Phantom spirit has not left our side, bringing us victory many times. The first indication of its unfailing presence was at the lnterhouse Swimming Battle. On this phantomtastic day, Cibson tool< out the overall cup by coming first in both the individual and aggregate challenges, and second in the Relays. (Hey, we had to let someone else win something.) We continued to exude this great house spirit on the day of the lnterhouse Cross-Country, spurring Meredith Bochmann (Year 8) to outstrip all opponents in the usual Phantom manner. Our other Phantomtastic events include 1st in the Rhythmic Cymnastics, all three cups at the lnterhouse Athletics, and managing to fit every single Cibson dramatist on stage for the lnterhouse Drama. The audience deemed it a success, with Aggi being a firm favourite.
Sorry to have to waffle on - ah, which reminds us...that's ex- actly what Cibson did this year with thousands of Nanna's dessert delights being consumed to help those in need. (Does the Phantom ever do anything for himself?) We have many gorgeous groups of individuals in Cibson, the house of the greats. ln an earnest endeavour to forge harmony and House Spirit, we have gathered into srnall families (eager eights, never-say-die nines, tremendous tens, effervescent elevens, and terrific twelves).
