gained by members began to show, and skills were enhanced. Correspondence with the lnternational Training in Communication Club in America brought news of our new position as number one club in Australia. From our humble beginnings eight years ago we have certainly come a long way. On School Day we advertised our club with much sought after stickers, which were given out by very colourful charactens. Further on in the year we held an enjoyable evening attended by members and their parents. The main purpose was to hand over the positions of responsibility to next year's board. At the same time, proud parents were impressed by their daughters' speeches. There is a Iot to be gained f rom Zenith, as the skills you learn are yours forever. Think of how many times in your life you will need to communicate with people. This is an important skillthat is often lacking. Zenith Club allows its members to learn to speak in front of an audience. There is no longer any need to suffer through orals and tutorials. You can learn listening, organizational, and communication skills, gain confidence, and develop your potential as a speaker and a leader. This sounds like a lot for one club to do, but after all, it is the number one Zenith Club in Australia. 1988 has been very successf ul with many new members, including Mrs Gilbert. We started the year with a fund- raising venture. I am sure the teachers remember our delicious cakes. As the year progressed the benefits
