Grammar this year celebrated a particularly successful season in the open competition. We obtained a double premiership when our A grade tied for first with State High and the B grade completed the round with an undefeated record. Congratulations to both teams for a much deserved win. The Grade 8 and 9 competition is to be held later this year on the 29th and 30th of October. We wish good luck to all those girls competing. This 'year Suzanne White represented her State in the schoolgirls division and the Under 16 age group. Other State representatives connected with Grammar Softball were Cathy Rees, our B grade coach who we all thank and congratulate and Pau line Harvey Short, our A grade coach .·whom thanks and congratulations are bestowed upon. We would also like to thank Mr Peter Cooke for coaching us irt the absence of Mrs Harvey Short while representing Australia for Softball. Our thanks is also extended to our scorers, Alex. Seckhold and Susan Mirls, and supporters .who helped tremendously. finally I would ·like to wish "good luck" to · all future Grammar teams and thank everyone for a fantastic season.
