Gibson House also made it into the finals of the interhouse debating, yet to be contested, but the team has done marvellously in coming this far at such short notice. This year also saw many of our girls representing the school and the state in various teams and events, all, without exception, of whom we are very proud. House activities, like everything else are drawing to a rapid finish with School Day and the picnic races still to be held, but as always we can anticipate good fun and a good spirit. Well there's not much more to say except a tremendous thanks to all the girls who've worked so hard and so long this year; to the wonderful House Group Seniors and their equally wonderful classes, to the cheer squad, to Vanessa, our ever-helpful sports captain and to all those grade 12's that helped so willingly to keep the House running smoothly. Thanks also to the House staff led so ably by Miss Gibson, who have given much time and effort to the House. Gibson hasn 't been coming in first everywhere this year, but it's due to the undying support of all those Gibsonites that we succeed in our House spirit and pride. I only hope that we can continue to do so next year, and the year after and the year after that. Best of luck to next year Year 12's in keeping Gibson House one of which we can all feel proud! Elizabeth Jameson (House Captain)
