ORCHESTRA AND CHOIR REPORT Once again, this year the B.G.G.S orcheslra anC choir have mainraineci their high stanciaro unciei' thre abie direction (and tapping foot) of N/iss Heoden. Both grouos have performed ai severai functions throughout the yeai, inciuding tne Easter Assemblv and severa; successfui school concerts. one of the highlights of tne cnoir's activities this .vear was the per- formance of a selection of songs from Oklahoma at the April Fasnion Extravaganza. The choir and orchestra also conlributed to School Day by a lunch-time perfor- mance of lignt music and a choral/orchestral arrange- menl from My Fair Lady whicn was repeated later in October in a delightful afternoon of music at Earlv Street with the Si Lucia Philharmonic Orchestra. Thanks must go to Miss Hebden, Mrs. Battersby, Mrs. Orford, Mrs. Nugent and Mrs. Harrap for their supporl during the year.
