LIFESAVING Lifesaving training began very early in the season'this year. lt was good to see the enthusiasm showed by all the girls, especially all the Grade Eight girls, who had not previously trained {or competition lifesaving. Due to the increased interest shown this year we were able to field a "D" team for the first time in many years. Although this team does not compete officially; it gives its members valuable competition experience for following years. Although B.G.G.S. did not gain any major placings this year, the work exhibited was of a very high standard. Our thanks go to Mrs. Lathouras and Mary-Kay Boyle who spent many hours helping us. Good luck to you all and I hope you keep up the good work. Jane Pillow. ,B' 1. St.Margaret's B.G.G.S. Sth (. B.G.G.S. 6th
