SOFTBALL Another successful softball season has come to an end unhampered, for the first time in three years, by rain. ln the 'A' grade, once again our main rivals were State High who finally took out the premiership only after a hard fought battle with Grammar. ln the 'B' competition Clayfield College were the team to beat, and Grammar was only narrowly defeated;Gram- mar, in the first half had them down 7-2, bul Clayf ield's well drilled team recovered to win 13-9. Our thanks must go to scorers Mrs. Cooke and Michelle Oswin for their efforts; to all our avid supporters, and finally to Miss Harvey who gave up much of her valuable time and effort as coach this year.
