"I want my mummy!" wailed Kerri , with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Quiet Kerri -that's whinge number one!" We set out with one strict rule. Three whinges allowed per person. Most of us managed to exceed this amount without too much trouble. Monday night: "Shh!" said Mr Miles. "We might see eyes:' He made the most noise, trying to keep us all quiet. We were spotlighting, looking for animals. All we saw were a few luminous dots in the distance. We then went star-gazing, and to our amazement- there were none. However, life went on . " Tent Three, OUT! " The voice of Miss McAdam echoed throughout Elanda Point. Tent three was doomed to spend 20 minutes in the cow-pad-ridden paddock. On our 13 kilometre hike to Harry's Hut, we had a cool swim across the Kin Kin River. That's when our toenails turned into icicles. Looking down at our feet, one girl noticed a small creature on her foot. " What is it? What 's that thing on my foot?" "A LEECH!!! " Thirteen panic-stricken girls stared down at the creature attached to a sock. No-one noticed the leech suck ing away at Alice's back-pack! Despite trying to move nitro-glycerine across a river infested with Piranas and try ing to cross an electro-fie ld w ith rubber bricks and planks- we all managed to make it through the five days at Elanda Point. Some d idn't even want to go home. We'd like to thank Miss McAdam, Mr Miles, Miss Roden (for wak ing us up at 6.20 to play red-rove r), Mrs G i lbert and Ms Rant for accompanying us on our journey up Mt Teewah, and last of all , Nick (UP THE KIWIS). Oh- and there was jaws!!

DAY 2- Those faces look very familiar, Mr Stuart and his side-kick Miss Reid. The wading out to the boat was a bit more than knee-deep. This long strenuous day finished with a movie. "Silver Streak! "
