the difficulty being that the dresses had to be made from newspaper and sticky tape. Leading this great House has proven to be a challenging yet highly rewarding experience. The warm England community has taken us under its wing. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time as House Captains and we will treasure the experiences we have gained. We are confident that England will continue to 'Soar Above the Rest'!
House fundraised for the charitable organisation, Operation Smile, through the selling of churros, glow sticks and dippin' dots. We made record sales this year with over $1000 raised. England House has maintained high spirits throughout the year with weekly House assemblies where girls were kept up to date with the achievements and upcoming events involving our beloved House. Additionally, bonds between Year levels were strengthened through activities including an Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader inspired quiz which challenged the Year 85 to test their knowledge against the rest of the House. Furthermore, the creative streak of the House emerged with a frock design competition -
