Netball This Netball season was one of the most successful for the sport for a number of years. The Year 8 teams all performed well this season all finishing in the top two of their division showing the depth of junior netball. The Open team also had a very successful season finishing second on the ladder, the outcome of hard work and commitment by both the girls and the Head Coach Therese Dwyer Netball played a role in raising money for charity with the Bi-Grammar Tri-Series against Brisbane Grammar School where a majority of Year 12 netballers displayed their skills to defeat the boys whilst raising money for the Brisbane Flood Appeal This year's Incredible success would not have been possible without the dedication and passion of our wonderful netball co- obinators, Mrs Behl and Ms Perz. We also acknowledge and thank the coaches who not only helped with skill and fitness development, but encouraged team work and a atmosphere

Rhgthmic Gumnostics it was lovely to see so many familiar faces at Rhythmic Gymnastics this year, and even lovelier to see some new ones! The season started off with numerous trials to create teams that would work well together. We were lucky enough to have sixty-five girls on the squad. Once music was selected and routines choreographed, the girls commenced perfecting their routines. Our Head Coach, Ms Oliver, has been involved in Rhythmic Gymnastics for over 18 years and she always makes sure we reach our full potential Thanks must also go to our coaches and to our lovely co- ordinator Ms Van Hornrigh who acted as our "behind the ninja During the June/Iuly holidays the girls slaved away for 14 hours over 2 days to prepare for the competition, doing ballet classes, yoga and zumba. Each day was themed (Crazy Tights and Crazy Hair) and the girls bonded over pizza and a BBQ at lunchtimes Term 111 brought about a practice competition in which the girls could experience the competition atmosphere and help overcome their nerves. The third week was the QGSSSA competition and while the season had its ups and downs, the hard work of the girls paid off. Congratulations must go to the Year 8 (11) team who were awarded first place and the School received a QGSSSA pennant. To the girls, thank you so much for your efforts this year! We could not be prouder of you. We hope you have enjoyed the season just as much as we have and will return next year scenes "
