DID YOU KNO\,V_OF THESE COINCIDENCES REGARDING PRESIDENTS LINCOLN AND KENNEDY? Both Presidents were concerned with civil rights issue. Lincoln was elected in 1860, Kennedy in 1960. Both Presidents' wives lost children through death rvhile family resided in \X/hite House. Both President's v/ere slain on a Friday, in their wives' plesence and both were shot through the head from behind. The assassins Booth and Oswald were both southerners fav- ouring unpopular ideas. ^ 1. 2. 3. 5. Lincoln's secretary named Kennedy advised him not to go to the theatre where he vras slain.
