OPEN DAY

Open Day is one of the most anticipated events in Brisbane Girls Grammar School calendar. This year, the School celebrated 60 years of Open Day events which only added to the buzz among the School community in the lead up to the night. First-time visitors to the School, or soon-to-be members of the School community were impressed by the energy and enthusiasm of students as we showcased our interests and involvement in the school curriculum and co-curriculum. As the sun went down and the fairy lights turned on, the excitement grew. For many students, this night provides us with the chance to not only share what we love about the School, but discover many of our friends’ talents and passions.

Students, staff, past students and parents all come out in full force to organise demonstrations, set up stalls, bake and enjoy the festivities. The amount of money raised for various charities supported by the School is always phenomenal. Open Day 2017 was, as always, a huge success and a brilliant display of Girls Grammar spirit.
