At Brisbane Girls Grammar School, students proudly immerse themselves in the Grammar blue, with the 2024 School motto— Together Strong, in Blue We Belong #tietheblue —aptly capturing the strong bonds amongst the girls and delight our students have in their School. The Publications Committee has crafted a beautiful keepsake with this year’s School Magazine in which every ribbon, bow and word has been thoughtfully considered and placed to reflect the strength, unity and belonging embodied by the sisterhood. For here in these pages, is a precious memento of their time at the School. As you read through the Magazine, you will hear the experience of BGGS through the voices of the students. The articles tell the stories of academic excellence, House spirit and the interwoven connections developed within the community, fostering lifelong friendships and support. These stories of belonging and participation tie together the School's traditions and aspirations

and, as we approach our 150-year anniversary, are a timely reminder of the stories of our long history. They have paved the way for opportunity and continued growth. This year our students have participated in: Interhouse and Interschool music and sporting competitions; Service and Club activities and fundraisers; Study Tours; and events such as Open Day; all while maintaining an unwavering dedication to their learning. To the graduating class of 2024, I hope you look back on your time at Brisbane Girls Grammar School as a time of rigorous challenge and exciting opportunity. It has been a pleasure watching you embrace the responsibilities of Year 12 united and confident, and I thank you for your talented and generous contribution to our School. You will make an important impact in the world, and I wish you every success. Let this Magazine be a reminder of your time here at BGGS and a lasting tie .
